Bird Carving - "Fancy Chicken" (3 Day)

Service Description

Don Bundy, master carver, will guide students to create a caricature fancy chicken. This class is for students who have some carving experience. In this class, a 3-dimensional whimsical fancy chicken will be carved So, students can focus on learning carving skills Don provides a roughed out blank of wood. During the class special attention will be given to anatomy including the feet, how to make feathers flow correctly and setting the glass eyes; learning which chisels to use for different applications. If time permits painting of the carving will be done. Class size limited to 6 students Class length: 3 full day sessions
